Pablo Pt. 8: Pastor Caleb Moran: Turn Around

Go Out Where It Is Deeper
Luke 5:1-9 (NLT)
Jesus may meet you where you are at, but He will always ask you to go deeper than where you are.
What’s Your Pulpit?
Luke 5:3-7 (MSG)
What do you have that can be used as a pulpit for Jesus?
God has made it to where His advancement on earth is tied to our cooperation.
God doesn’t need us, He chooses us.
Dr. Lilian B. Yeomans said,
“God has tied Himself irrevocably to human cooperation in the execution of divine purposes. He has made man’s faith a determining factor in the work of redemption.”
Never lower your expectation because of your desperation.
If you want bigger, you will have to go deeper.
Turn Around
When you partner with God- allowing Him to use your resources as a pulpit to amplify His voice- He will redirect ample provision to your location.
Conclusion
If we can aid in helping spread the Gospel, God will fill our boats to overflowing.
Partnership is adding value back to the thing that is adding value to you.
We must leave the shallow waters of low expectation, and launch out into the deep waters of faith.

Pablo Pt. 7: Paul Adds Value

Acts 20:32-36
You need to believe in our friendship
Two questions everyone must answer:
1. Who is with you?
2. Who are you with?
Gratitude and Thanksgiving are never wrong.
Everything God does through you is a testimony to those who have parented you, mentored you, discipled you, and loved you.
2 Timothy 4:9-11
Who are you with?
Act 15:35-40
It’s easy to hug and thank a miracle man.
It’s harder to touch a leper.
We are called to touch the lepers.
Your future is in who you serve.

Pablo Pt. 6: Paul Leaves Corinth

Stir yourself up to go after a life that only God could give you.
Who do you think God is and what do you believe He is capable of doing in your life?
Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)
Paul could write to the church at Ephesus that God was capable of amazing miracles because they had seen them.
Acts 19:1 (KJV)
Acts 19:8-12 (KJV)
Acts 19:17-20 (KJV)
They never would have seen them if Paul would not have left Corinth.
Paul believed God was capable of more.
Each and everyone of us will come to place in our lives where God asks us to leave Corinth. To exchange safe and good for great and God.
It’s not just about seeing miracles and having more. It’s about your faith resting in the power of God. When the power of God is missing, devotion will be waning.
Luke 5:1-11 (MSG)
You have to leave the shore of ease and get in the uncomfortableness of the deep in order to see miracle.

Pablo Pt. 5: Headaches and Heartbreaks

1 Corinthians 13:1-8 (NASB)
We must overcome hate and bitterness to be truly free. Holding on to hatred makes us exhausted and sick.
Antoine Leiris
On Friday night, you stole the life of an exceptional being, the love of my life, the mother of my son, but you will not have my hate. I will not give you the satisfaction of hating you. This is what you want, but to respond to your hate with anger would be to yield to the same ignorance that made you what you are. My son is only seventeen months old. Today he will have his snack as he does everyday, then we will play as we do everyday, and all his life this little boy will defy you by being HAPPY and FREE. Because you will not have his hate either.
Love appears to be the spiritual force that powers every other spiritual thing. With out love no other spiritual practice has power.
Luke 23:33-34 (KJV)
He was abandoned, mocked, beaten and in the process of being murdered and He forgave them.
He prayed for them.
When you pray for an enemy, it moves you from being hurt by them to being hurt for them.

Pablo Pt. 4: Paul: Pause on Purpose

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 (KJV)
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (MSG)
Acts 18:1 (KJV)
Acts 18: 7-8 (KJV)
The church at Corinth had received the gospel but the gospel had not produced a notable change in them.
1 Corinthians 1:10-16 (MSG)
1 Corinthians 3: 1-3 (KJV)
1 Corinthians 5: 1-2 (MSG)
1 Corinthians 2:5 (KJV)
1 Corinthians 2:3-5 (KJV)
A pause of pain made them stop, reflect and change.
What if we could build that pause into our lives BEFORE we made the mistake and experienced the pain?
What would you do if you understood God was in you?
Pause: reflect and learn
Pause: rejoice and give thanks
Pause: recalibrate, judge yourself and make adjustments
Once a week ask: What changes in my life is God my Father asking me to make?
3 to 5 times a day: Pause and remind yourself, I am the temple of God. God lives in me.
Change recalibrate to examine and let’s take off yourself too
Pause: Examine, judge and make adjustments

Pablo Pt. 3: Paul Confronts Racism

Your love for God is shown by your love for your fellow man.
1 John 4:20-21 (MSG)
A big part of Paul’s ministry was the destruction of racial tension.
Galatians 2:11-14 (KJV)
Acts 10:13-16 (KJV)
Acts 11:1-3 (KJV)
If you want to be with us, you have to be like us. If you’re not like us, you can’t be with us.
Paul didn’t wait for the offended race to speak up and defend itself. Instead, he corrected his own race by calling a wrong a wrong.
How powerful would it have been if someone who was Egyptian would have spoken up and said, “No, we aren’t coming, he’s next.”
Paul chose kindred spirits and not just kindred flesh to do life with.
